Part 107 Class

FAA Part 107 Certification Class

The Federal Aviation Administration, FAA, requires all drone pilots flying commercially to obtain a drone pilot’s license. The official name for the license is the FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate, which is obtained by passing a knowledge and safety exam administered by an FAA testing center. Remote pilot certificates are valid for two years before pilots are required to pass a recertification exam.
